But it's time you fixed your gaze—or, I suppose, your ears—on their perception-expanding prog-psych, because they've just released a great new 7-inch, Damn These Shackles of Gravity! The new record concisely sums up their wild and woolly weirdness via shifting rhythms, groaning bass, spaced-out synths, and gas-pipe saxophone, plus too many other weird elements to catalog. I listened to this record—at the wrong speed, it turns out—after a night of watching American Horror Story, and I don't think I'll ever be quite the same.
